JoAnn Comments on State Budget Deal

Patriots,  On Tuesday an apparent deal was struck between TX House Appropriations Chair Jim Pitts and Governor Perry to tap the Rainy Day Fund for approximately $3.2 billion in order to cover the current biennium shortfall.  "Approximately" is the best I can report at this time since the numbers bounce around in Austin like ping-pong balls.
