Dr. Jeffrey F. Addicott is a Professor of Law and the Director of the Center for Terrorism Law at St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio. He is currently participating in public awareness and law enforcement training efforts regarding national security threats from an open southern border.

Addicott served as an active duty Army officer in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps for twenty years, where he spent a quarter of his career as the senior legal advisor to the US Army’s Special Forces (Green Berets). He retired in 2000 at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

An internationally recognized expert in terrorism law, Addicott is a regular contributor to FOX NEWS Channel, NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, New York Times, Washington Post, and Wall Street Journal. He has given over 600 speeches and over 4,000 media interviews. Dr. Addicott has published over 60 books, book chapters, and law review articles on national security issues. His most recent book is Terrorism Law: Cases, Materials, Comments, 7th edition (2014).
