The new Texas Legislative Prayer Caucus invites you to join them for ‘Call To Prayer Day’, a historic event to call leaders and citizens to stand for our Judeo-Christian heritage and to pray for Texas and the nation.
TEXAS CALL TO PRAYER DAY
Monday, February 6th, 2017
12:00 – 1:00 p.m. CT
State Capitol, South Steps
(the event will occur rain or shine)
Elected leaders & citizens from across the state will gather at the State Capitol for three purposes:
The Texas Legislative Prayer Caucus is modeled after the Congressional Prayer Caucus, an official caucus of the U.S. Congress; a bipartisan group of nearly 100 members of Congress who are dedicated to protecting religious liberty and recognizing our nation’s spiritual heritage.
Texas is one of 31 states that has joined the American Prayer Caucus Network, a Network of lawmakers and citizens that is advanced and supported by the Congressional Prayer Caucus Foundation, Inc. (CPCF). CPCF is helping successfully join elected leaders across the nation with praying and action-oriented citizens in a concerted effort to protect America’s rich spiritual heritage and the religious liberty granted us by our Creator and defined in the First Amendment.
Please contact Summer Ingram at Summer@CPCFoundation.com with any questions.
We look forward to seeing you there!
In God We Trust,
Debbie Terry, State Director, Texas Prayer Caucus Network
